Million Minute Challenge Let's Go! Let’s Go is challenging Colleton County to exercise for 1 Million Minutes!

To help us reach our goal, all you have to do is register for Let’s Go Get Fit and then get moving! Then, each time you exercise, login and report your time. In addition to helping our county get fit, we’re giving away great prizes for each milestone we reach with a drawing. Good luck!

Let’s Go Get Fit pledge

The best way to start eating smart and moving more is to make a pledge to yourself to make positive changes everyday. Simple and small lifestyle changes can add up to make a bigdifference in how you look and feel. Simple things include:

  • take a 10 minute walk after dinner each evening
  • park at the furthest end of the parking lot
  • cut back on sodas and other sweetened beverages
  • join a group fitness class
  • plant a garden

By taking the Let’s Go Get Fit pledge, you’re committing to yourself and to your friends and family that you’re takingcontrol of your health. You’re saying “I pledge to start eatingsmart and moving more everyday!” As part of your pledge, aim for at least:

  • 30 minutes of physical activity most days of the week
  • 5 servings of fruit and vegetables every day

The Let’s Go Get Fit pledge is about empowering yourself to eat smart, move more and to have fun at the same time.

Let’s Go Get Fit! is a community-wide challenge foreveryone in Colleton County to live a healthier lifestyle. As part of our Let’s Go! Campaign, we’re inviting youto make a commitment to eating smart andmoving more by joining our challenge.

Get Started!

You can register as an individual or as part of a team. Once you’re registered, you can track:

  • Physical activity (up to 3 activities that best suit your needs)
  • Fruit & Vegetable consumption
  • Weight (this is self-reported and is optional)

Individual

If you’re the type of person who is self motivated, you can register as an individual to join the challenge.

Create a Team

Sometimes a “friendly competition” helps to keep you motivated,so you can register a team. A team can be a family, a group of friends, a church group, a work team, a classroom or even a school.

Invite a Friend

There’s strength in numbers, so invite your friends to join the Let’s Go Get Fit challenge. Together, you can make adifference in Colleton County.
